Anime Review: “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 1 (Phantom Blood)”. WRYYYYYYYY?!

Story

Jonathan Joestar is to inherit the Joestar fortune from his father but then a boy by the name of Dio Brando is adopted by his father, Mr. Joestar. Dio was told by his father before he passed away that the Joestars owe him because he saved Mr. Joestars life.  Jonathan tries to be brotherly towards Dio but Dio does not want anything froDioYJonathanm Jonathan but the Joestar fortune. And Dio will do anything to take it away from Jonathan. Jonathan enters a bizarre adventure which leads him to meeting some bizarre characters, attaining powers, and fighting vampires. Jonathan will stop at nothing to beat Dio.

  • The Animation was done by “David Productions” (Hyperdimension Neptunia, Inu x Boku, Bento).
  • Head writer is Yasuko Kobayashi (Attack on Titan, Claymore, Witchblade).
  • Head director is Kenichi Suzuki (Inu x Boku, Gundam Battle Warriors, Hellising Ultimate). There are over 10 directors.

Anime Review

Pros:

  • A Bizarre, Funny, and Intense story!
  • Very likable and lovable characters! Bizarre and Strong characters. Buff!
  • Animation at times is stellar! I could feel the movement.
  • Keeps you wanting more after the episode ends!

  • Characters designs are unattractive and funny looking at times.
  • Animation is stiff and sloppy at times.EwJo

Final comments: Macho men are unappealing at first but WATCH IT! It is GEM that people pass all the time. Don’t pass it up and enter the Joestar line!
